Who Would Like To Do A Link Exchange?

please don't post that stuff here. Perhaps a SEO forum would be more helpful for ideas. My suggestion is to google it and then do some searching and emailing to like-minded indie companies with PR's of 1-3. I'd also suggest getting into some directories.

You shouldn't exchange links with just any site. The links should be relevant to your site. See the link in my signature for help in finding those.

Another very important thing when exchanging links is making sure the site your exchanging with is not breaching Googles terms.

If they have a PR 0 and have a large link list already established then be wary. Google will allocate a PR 0 to any site that is found to be breaching their rules and conditions and the most common causes are creating shadow sites (i.e. duplicate sites with the same products to attempt to get more results on Google) or hidden links (i.e. using methods to have keywords and links available to Google that the visitor does not see (such as white text on a white background, etc)).

Even reputable firms have been caught out doing this as this link shows - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4685750.stm

If you link to a site that is blacklisted by Google there is the chance that you will receive the same penalty for linking to them.
