Copying Products To Another Store

Hi,

 

I have an existing oscommerce store with lots of products.

I would like to copy all the products in their categories with their description, images and all other info to a different oscommerce sore.

 

How can I do that?

Do a database backup of the first store. copy it to the new store. Rename it to match the database of the new store.

(Do a backup in the new store and you will see the difference in file names.)

copy the images folder from the old store and paste in the new store. (alternate way= copy only product images from old to new)

Do a restore from backup in the new store using the copied over backup.

That should do it.

One side note: If store two has changes to the database that store 1 does not have you could loose these. If store 1 has changes that store 2 does not have they will be copied over. Also all orders etc will be copied from 1 to the other. But remember you did a backup first right?
