cahillsh Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 When I try to enter a credit card number in my checkout the error "The credit card number entered is invalid.<br>Please check the number and try again." keeps appearing. i am extremely new to oscommerce and have minor probs so far that the forums have had the answers to. any suggestions, please help and remember I am new this whole thing. thanks in advance... Is the credit card yours? and are you trying to do the purchase via your own website while online? The credit card company may prevent your card from going through your own commerce account. PD_Steve Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 What payment module are you using? It is possible that the payment module your using requires cURL and SSL. If that is the case then the cURL on your server might not be recognising the SSL ca.bundle for your domain. However, this is all down to what payment module your using and if your using SSL during checkout. If this is the case, then I can advise further.
