shawnm
I have been trying to get this, but not sure how... If a user searches for a product, and only one product matches that description, I want the user to go directly to the that product's info page, rather than showing the search results. Is this possible? Seems pointless to show the search results page with only one product on the search... just take the user directly to that product info page. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me with this! Shawn
PD_Steve
Personally, I would leave it at the one product. I'll give a few reasons. I generally search on something and then check the results to see if any of them are actually what I wanted. Sometimes searches return items that I was not actually looking for. If one item returned that I was not after and I was directed to that page without having a choice of going there or not, I would probably go to another shop for my product. Secondly, its a lot easier :) My Toolbox: Crimson Editor, Adobe Photoshop CS2.0, Expression Web, Macromedia Suite 8.0, Cinema 4D, Nvu.
PD_Steve
Oh, another idea. Set the "search in descriptions" to on for all searches and then you will find that its hard to get just one product to appear (unless you only have one product) My Toolbox: Crimson Editor, Adobe Photoshop CS2.0, Expression Web, Macromedia Suite 8.0, Cinema 4D, Nvu.
