ldndude Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hi everyone. Here's what I am trying to do. I have a client who sells psychic readings. I want to set up oscommerce to handle the customers orders and payment processing. Once a purchase is completed, I want the information on the purchased item(s) and the customer who bought it to be inserted into a seperate database. From here, there ordered item(s) are considered to be in their inventory to be redeemed when they choose. I'll illustrate an example: John, a customer, buys a 'love-life reading' and a 'tarot card reading' through oscommerce. Once oscommerce has received validation from the payment gateway (in this case: internetsecure) oscommerce then updates the orderstatus to completed. It is at this stage that I also want oscommerce to update the other database with the products ordered. I can write the script easily enough, I just need to know where in oscommerce (which file) where the status of the order is updated. Does anyone know offhand? I haven't done a thorough search through oscommerce yet so I am hoping it's not going to be a file called 'update_order_status_here.php' or I will look seriously silly.
