He folks,

Setting up my first OSCommerce store here. I need to set up an additional contact form with some custom form elements and really need it to be within the OSCommerce template. What do you think is the best way of going about this?

Thanks!

I've actually had to do this multiple times with the store that I'm working on right now. I have about 5-6 different pages that I've had to custom build due ot the nature of the product. You can see what I mean here: 365RX

Best thing that I've done is find a file that does mostly what I want my custom page to do, make a copy of that file on my comp, find out where the information is being populate and change that to what I need it to do. Most of the page load or calculation code goes on the top of the page, and everything else is in the middle of the page.

Get to know how osCommerce works, and make sure that you create a file in your store/includes/language/english directory so that you don't have to worry about altering text elements of your page through this one file. Makes things so much nicer!
