install txt is not complete Fatal error Fatal error Fatal er

I am having an install problem. The install txt says nothing about changing the apllication_top.php file variables. Yet the erro is saying change something.

 

Does anyone know what I need to change. Surely everyone has has this problem?

 

Is there a link for the problem?

Which version are you using?

 

2.1 or 2.2

I recommend you use 2.2, sounds like your using 2.1. since your discussing application_top.

 

setup files (For paths etc)

2.1 edit

catalog/includes/application_top.php

admin/includes/application_top.php

 

2.2 edit

catalog/includes/configure.php

admin/includes/configure.php

 

Tho with 2.2 you should just run the install program at

catalog/install/index.php

what are the cvs dir's and the three files within it?
