How Do I Add A Subcategory?

When I am configuring under Catalog, where it asks to add product categories and products, after going to the category and clicking "New Category" it does just that, rather than creating a subcategory. If I click Edit, it's just category name, image and sort order. There appears to be no way to add a subcategory under a product category.

 

For example I'd like:

 

Software

-> Windows Programs

-> Linux Programs

-> PHP Scripts

-> Perl Scripts

 

If you can see what I'm getting at, and adding the products under the appropriate subcategories.

 

Can anyone please tell me how to add a subcategory?

In Admin - Click on Catalog (Contents) - Click twice on Category for Software - Then select the new category button - Enter the details for Windows Programs - repeat for the other 3 items and it's done
