They wish to branch the product range out to 5 additional websites, but each sharing the same source data. So for example picture Play.com, with its full range, then imagine a) playdvds.com B) playgames.com c) playbooks.com etc etc Obviously each website will use the same webserver so they are all able to share the same mysql server, but more specifically, we would like to know if the following are capable "out of hte box" or with 3rd party modules. Different pricing structure for each site, so we are able to overide the base price of a book on the main website with a specific price for one of the sub sites. Create different categories and sub cat's indepedent of the "master" db, as a aggregations of products across the "master" db range. For example "war movies" category made up of war movies hand selected from master DB. Able to search on attributes of a product. For example specify a movie length and then a user is able to browse on that criteria. Ability to manage user accounts so the administrator can send them discount codes etc via email. Been 18 months since ive touched OSCommerce and I know some of this criteria wasnt possible then, I would be very grateful for peoples thoughts on the above issues thanks
