Hi,

I created a html+gif brick on Adobe Imageready and I want to put it up on the storefront page (preferably right below the "Welcome Guest..." line. How would I go about doing that?

On a side note, I also have a problem of when I create .jpg's on photoshop and upload them onto my FTP server, the pictures turn out all warped and the colors are all messed up when I enter in the .jpg filename in internet explorer. Any idea why it might do that?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi,

I'm not the most experienced person but this is how I did it.

You need to edit your index.php file - path catalog/includes/languages/english

look for this bit of code:

define('TEXT_MAIN', '

after the ' add what you want i.e.

<table width="80%" align="center">

<body>

<p>This site is currently under construction. Orders for products cannot be made, please note prices and details are not accurate.</p>

<p>If you would like to make any enquiries regarding our products and their availability, please email:</p>

<p>Thank you. </p>

</body>

<tr>

<td width="16%" height="116" valign="bottom"><div align="center">

<p><a href="http://yourname.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=26"><img src="http://yourname.co.uk/catalog/images/DSC_0052.jpg" width="78" height="73" border="0" align="bottom" /></a></p>

</div></td>.');

You need to upload your image, then give the URL path as above.

Hope this helps.
