Is It Possible To Add More Than One Item To My Cart With One Click?

Hello All

 

A shop I manage is being intagrated with an external application that will send model numbers back to my site to be added to the shopping cart.

 

It is likely that there will always be multiple products to be added each time this feature is used.

 

Does anyone know how I would change osCommerce so that it can handle adding more than one product to the shopping cart at any given time?

 

If so how should the variables be passed to the product_info.php page?

 

Also it's likely that the site will need to send model numbers to my site rather than product ID's, does anyone have an idea about how to convert these?

I'm not sure if my initial post was all that clear so I'll address just a single issue here.

 

Does anyone know how to add multiple (different) items to the shopping cart at one time.

 

The data is coming from an external site.

 

Would I need to loop through something or is there some material I can refer to to do this?
