cenap Posted November 6, 2002 Posted November 6, 2002 i would like to install and run the script on my pc (win-XP) and just test it etc...however, i simply got confused by the manual. got Apache, PHP and MySQL. do i need all of them or just PHP or..? can someone give me simple yet clear instructions? imagine you are trying to tell a retard how to do it...like, 'now you move this to there and so on...' i know, you guys and gals must be laughing your heads off...fair enough! so, anyone with a hand or two..? thanx :)
dahammer2 Posted November 6, 2002 Posted November 6, 2002 You need all 3! luckily some people have made this free project http://sourceforge.net/projects/phptriad This will install thsoe 3 products on your computer, for you in one installer. That should at least get you started :)
cenap Posted November 6, 2002 Author Posted November 6, 2002 thanx for the info. but i have all 3 installed and there is no problem running them, they are fine. i need some info where to put what file etc...am i fine on my machine etc. i know it would take many lines to explain each move...but i simply dont get the first few steps in my head... :(
