binh Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 HI i made a post yesterday, i tried the suggested configuration setting by the other members but still can't get this to install on my westie i have follow step guide on the user manual for installation guide but it still not got to the 3 step where the there is a access error msg Access denied for user 'deansize_mysql'@'localhost' to database 'deansize_oscommerce' New Installation Import Catalog database: "checked" Automatic Configuration: "checked" database server: localhost Username:deansize_msql Password: "*****" Database Name: deansize_oscommerce (share server so "Persistent is unchecked") Session Storage: "unchecked" but i still get the above error please please help any expert out there... i have as you have suggested , but i am still getting the problem. please help many thank could any member who have installed this sucessfully could kindly help me by giving me the step by step guide thank Q Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
♥Vger Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Install gets stuck on page 2 --------------------------- The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2 is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to stop and restart your server to get this change to take effect.)
