narcolepticdriver
Hi, I'm a new user. I've just transferred all my files, and everything's fine. On my localhost/catalog page I've clicked on "create an account" and my localhost/catalog/create_account.php page never shows up; it just loads forever. My connection speed is fast, my host supports PHP...what could be the problem? Thanks, Mark
GemRock
HI Mark What is 'localhost' in the url/path? the word localhost has a special meaning and normally means you are running osc on a local network/server, eg, one that is set up on your pc. BUt since you also mentioned your host, which seems you are running osc from a remote server? narcolepticdriver
Oh, sorry. I just used the wrong term I suppose. That's where the name of my website goes; I guess I meant www.mywebsite.com/catalog and www.mywebsite.com/catalog/create_page.php.
♥Vger
If you ticked the enable ssl box during the install, without having an ssl certificate for your site then you need to set enable_ssl to 'false' in both configure.php files. Vger
narcolepticdriver
Wow, thank you so much. Why did I tick SSL in the first place? I have a lot to learn, lol.
narcolepticdriver
Ok, now I've logged in. But when I want to re-log in I'm taken to a page that simply says 'no input file specified'. What now?
