torrent Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Hello everyone, i have searched the forum for hours today trying to find a fix for this. i moved my catalog from www.website.com/store/catalog/ to www.website.com. i made all changes to includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php and removed all references to store/catalog/ from the rest of my site. after doing so everything works fine except i cannot view my product pages. i use sts and ultimate seo contributions, but even with them turned off i still have this problem. after reinstalling oscommerce in an attempt to fix this i restored a backup of my database could this be the reason?
GemRock Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Although you said you had edited the two configure.php files, you did not say whether you had done the same to the .htaccess file, which, by your description of the problem, is likely the cause of the problem. You need to change /store/catalog/ to just: / after you moved osc to the web root with seo urls installed. Turning off seo will not make the problem go away as osc does not read that .htaccess file.
