Password Forgotten - Error No Matches Were Found For E-mail And/or Password

someone please help me before i go mad

 

been looking through coding, and search through forums for 2 days now

 

the problem i get is when i go to password forgotten page, and type in e-mail address, get a error - no matches were found for e-mail address and /or password, ive tried with various e-mail addresses but still get same problem

 

all other e-mails such as registration, order confirmation etc work fine, its just the forgotten password function that dont work

 

the forgotten password works on other oscommerce websites i have so dont think its my hosting company
