Zappa12321
We have a shop located in Texas and because of that I need to pay Texas tax on products shipped to Texas. The interesting thing about the tax in Texas is that I need to tax both the product and the shipping and was wondering if anyone had written a module that did this and could just be zoned for Texas shipments. As far as I know, default shipping modules provided by osc includes shipping fee to subtotal before tax. Well, my flat rate module did so to be honest. It means shipping charge is included for calculating tax amount. Also, if you use UPS for your shipping, you can get UPS XML from the contribution, which gives you an option whether to include or not include the shipping charge for tax. However, UPS XML needs ssl connection and cURL compiled on your server. Well, if you can set that up, I think it's better to use UPS XML... as long as you can get required access key from ups.com. good luck.
