Major Problem With My Site

I'm soon to go live with my site, I was showing someone today on another computer how easy it is to add categories and products etc and generally selling the virtues of osCommerce. When to my horror, they edited a Category, by changing the title and when they saved the picture disappeared.

 

I've come home myself and done the same thing with another category and sure enough, if I edit a category and save the image is deleted (though it is still in the images folder on my server)

 

I'm absolutely desperate with this one as it means I can't really add any stock if I'm going to keep loosing pictures all the time. I had tomorrow and the weekend to put my stock on to launch on Monday and suddenly I'm back to square 1.

 

Please, please, please, please, please can someone help me.

That is a bit of a glitch with oscommerce; however, if you change a category name and the picture disappears it should not affect your products in that category. I suggest adding a product, then changing the category name to test it. Good luck!

Oh really, it's just a bug in osCommerce, I'm amazed I couldn't find anything on it. Products are not affected and can be edited fine. It's just Categories and sub-Categories.

 

It's a bit restricting though not to be able to add header tags etc without loosing the picture!
