Hi,

 

Sorry I know this is a tediously dull topic but.....i'd really appreciate some help. I cant find php.ini, htaccess anywhere!!! can anyone give me some tips. Its the old Global_repair problem. Any idea where they might be lurking? Many Thanks

Unfortunately the location of the ini file depends on your system. If you control the system do a search for php.ini. If not get a hold of your hosting company.

 

The .htaccess file is a little easier though. It will be in your webroot (where the php files are). If you don't see one you can just make a text file with the directives you'd like in it. If it doesn't work then you'll want to go hunting for the apache (or whatever) httpd.conf.
