Guest Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 my server is www.worria.com and when i password my admin folder it does nothing at all still lets everyone log onto the folder and its driving me nuts is their an outside program that can do this for me instead?

Is the Folder requires a password to access via http:// box checked for the /admin folder with an active user? not 100% on what cpanel is but when i log in on my server it brings up a control panel, then onto an webshell program allowing FTP etc and there is an option to protect file down the bottom, i select directry select passwrd etc it even writes a .htaccess file etc but there is still no protection when i access the directory, thought there might have been another way of doing it as my site is due for launch any day now
