dfjordan Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Good morning all, I've been in the process of skinning an oscommerce install. Before I started editing checkout_payment.php I wanted to walkthrough the process of an order. I get through checkout_shipping.php fine, and it leads me to checkout_payment.php. Currently, the only payment method running is Paypal Direct Payment. I fill out the test credit card info and click continue but it just loops back to the checkout_payment.php screen. I've searched the forums and saw problems for looping on other pages, and tried the solutions there just for kicks but without success. Has anyone run in to this problem, or is there a thread I'm not finding in my searches that already covers it? Please let me know if you need me to paste code of any page. Thanks so much. Dan

dfjordan Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 Alright, so I figured out if I add on regular paypal and give them two options, both work. But as soon as I take off regular paypal module and just leave paypal direct payment, it doesn't work...
dfjordan Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 I'm an idiot. If anyone else runs in to this problem: The module comes with default credit card expiration dates. I was using the test credit card number, but the default expiration date was a past date, which caused it to loop. So, take out 2007, or just select an upcoming expiry date and things work fine. God, that was a lot of time spent on such a stupid problem. :) It's always the little things.
