Disabling Customer Details

I have looked through the contributions and also searched the forums, but haven't found exactly what I am looking for.

 

At the account creation process, because I don't have any physical goods, I want to disable quite a lot of the details required.

 

I want to remove/disable:

-Last name

-Street address

-Post code

-City

-Country

-Phone number

-Fax number

 

Basically, the only information I want is the first name (which doesn't even need to be a real name) and an e-mail address, and password.

 

I'll be using the Paypal API once I get to that stage (and still won't need a shipping address), but before then, I am using OSC as a catalog which requires links to an outside website to make purchases.

 

(If any of this doesn't make sense, this site is for the online/virtual chat client IMVU, therefore all "product" sales are made through their website- for the time being.)

 

I have looked at the PWA and "guest account" contributions, but they are either really confusing with multiple updates and bug fixes and I have no idea which one I need to download to install, as the final uploads don't seem to be whole packages, or they don't disable the features I'd like disabled.

 

I think that removing the address stuff should be simple enough, and I might just be able to look through the code and figure it out myself, but I really don't want to go buggering up the catalog either, so if someone already knows how this can be done, it'd be much appreciated.
