Oscommerce With Paypal's Website Paments Standard

Hopefully, a repost in this category instead of Contributions / Add-ons will get me more help :-)

I am new to both osCommerce and online merchant accounts. I have successfully installed osCommerce and want to use Paypal's Website Payments Standard (not Pro) account to process credit cards. Paypal provides a "plug-in" for using Payments Pro but not Standard. I can't find any guidance on where to begin integrating osCommerce with Paypal Standard. I am sure this has been done before - can someone please guide me in the right direction to documentation or a "plug-in" to support this. Thanks!

The module for it is already built into your shop although you should update that with the oscommerce_paypal_ipn contribution.

I am having problems with Paypal as well. When you go to checkout of my store, it takes you to paypal, but when you sign in it just takes you to the main page. I contacted Paypal, and the gave me some "required variables," but I don't know what to do with them. I looked for the oscommerce_paypal_ipn contribution, but it seems to have some problems. Can anyone hep?

The oscommerce_paypal_IPN contribution works quite well, in my experience. If you don't have it installed, you need to do that and see if the problem gets resolved.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize that support for Paypal Website Payments Standard was built in. One quirk was that I had to edit the DB directly for the PayPal email (for those who try this in future).

There is one concern however - it seems like users are being required to input data such as shipping address twice, once for OSC and then again, on the Paypal payment site. Is there a remedy to this so that users only have to do this once, either on the OSC checkout screens (and the info is relayed to Paypal) or in the Paypal site where the users bypass OSC checkout altogether?
