Question About "aol Send Email Problem Fix"

Hello Everybody:

I've been trying to resolve my issues sending e-mail to AOL users. I've tried several options via using the search feature here.

I'm now trying this contribution, "AOL send email problem fix"

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4629

I do not understand this part of it...

Now make sure that here: admin/configuration.php?gID=1&cID=3&action=edit a valid email is defined, that is hosted on the same server as your OSC shop (not free emails like Yahoo! or Gmail or something like that).

If somebody could explain the above & how to do it?

I'm on a Apache server running Linux.

My mail settings in the stores admin panel...

e-mail transport method sendmail

e-mail line feeds LF

send e-mails true

I can send & receive mail to other domains, just not AOL

I can send & receive mail through my MS Outlook

Any e-mail that is generated through the OSC store does not send to AOL users.

I can send mail to other domains using the "sendmail LF" options or "smtp crlf" options & it works on other domains but not AOL.

Any help on solving this issue would really be appreciated.
