jbmtk
Everytime I attempt to add a box to the left or right, it throws off the images and banners on the columens so much that it looks unproffesional. I tried to search the forums here, but does anyone know what code is needed to alter in, lets just say phponline.php, to make it look like the other boxes? Thanks
Guest
Looking at the statment for adding boxes , they have the info for adding a page to a box To add a box, you need to 1st go to the The catalog/includes/languages/english.php add the line you want the box to be , as the example is below // information box text in includes/boxes/information.php define('BOX_HEADING_INFORMATION', 'Information'); 2nd create the box, by copying the information box and renameing it, change the page info to what you want then loading it to catalog/includes/boxes/ 3rd creat the pages as they state at http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/C...g_Area/Boxes/49 and load them Ralph
jbmtk
thank you so much! although now I have another problem......I guess the best way to explain it would be by showing my site: http://splintermods.sytes.net/xbox/catalog/index.php If you travel down to the bottom of my site and click on one of the news articles or one of the information articles in the informatoin box, you will see that it stretches out my layout and is all in red background. What file should I modify to make it conform back to my sites original format. here are my "specs": VN2 installed template, newsdesk, UPS, and some other contribution concerning modifing the information box. I do think though the problem has something to do with newsdesk.
Guest
I can't see any problem, but I do think your choice of backround vs text is very hard to read, Ralph
jbmtk
I can't see any problem, but I do think your choice of backround vs text is very hard to read, Ralph Hmm, so you're saying that that is how it is supposed to look like? I guess it dosn't look too bad, I just thought it would reformat itself differently. Anyways, I'm gonna change the text like you said so you can see it better. Thank you Ralph!
