Hi i have new install oscommerce for my shop.

in pdf documentation write: You need to .htaccess your /catalog/admin directory so that it is password protected. You

can use the password manager in your server admin area like cpanel.

At your hosts control panel where you can create databases etc look to see if they have a feature for password protecting directories. If they do use it as this is the easiest.
