Echo Payment Module Not Working

Guest

Recommended Posts

So I installed the ECHO payment module (1.7.4). It appears fine, but when I go to process an order, I get the following error...

---------------------

You are receiving this error for one of the following reasons:

1) Your PHP does not have built-in OpenSSL support. Please contact your hosting company to resolve this issue. PHP needs to be configured with the --with-openssl option.

2) The server cannot establish an internet connection to the ECHOnline server at https://wwws.echo-inc.com/scripts/INR200.EXE

Server Software: Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.11 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.25 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

PHP Version: 4.3.11

---------------------

As you can see I have OpenSSL 0.9.7a installed, so it's not that. Any ideas why it can't connect to the echo server? I added my ECHO ID & PIN in the admin section of the module. Please help.

Thanks

Tom

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this or even where to start looking, being that it's a generic "can't connect" message? I talked with ECHO support and they provided zero help and had no clue why it might not connect. Any ideas?
