Occassional Missing Orders

Hi,

 

About a month ago I moved my osCommerce store to a new server. I copied everything from one server to the other. The domain names did change though. Since then I have discovered two orders that were accepted by my payment processor but not recorded in the database or admin. In one case there is no record for the customer. Any ideas as what may cause this?

 

I did a search of the forum but did not find anything like this.

if its paypal and You are using the standard one this might happen if customer after paying on paypal do not return to the site.

 

solutions

1)Add order holding contrib.

2)If paypal install and use paypal IPN by oscommerce team.

3)Set auto return on on your paypal profile.

Sounds like a database error to me.

 

Did you check the session table if there are any records for the mentioned orders?

 

I looked at the sessions table but didn't see an obvious way of knowing if the missing order from yesterday is listed, as everything appears to be in a coded format.

I am using Netbilling's payment module. I will contact them.

 

The customer resubmitted their order and now I see it in the admin panel. Must have to do with the session from yesterday.
