Template Usage/design

Hello. i am brand new to osCommerce. i am wanting to change the design of my default oscommerce page. i have tried a couple of different skins b ut have had no success with them. is there an easy way of doing this for someone like me with very little php knowledge?

 

Also, i am wanting to add some information (either text or graphic) to my banner on our store page. what is the best way of doing this?

Thanks. I tried a couple from there but have not been able to get them to work. Once I upload the files I get errors on my page. And because I do not know php i can really diagnose the error messages.

yes, I understand, I would recommend to spend some time checking the install instructions. Some of those modules are quite simple and do not require programming skills. Others are harder.

 

In any case when you stuck somewhere or you do not undestand a specific installation step, you should ask a specific question in one of the support forums. The more information you post about a problem the easier is for others to help.
