Desperate For A Solution To Having Uk Currency

Sorry I know I keep asking this question but I've never had an answer - I'm sure it's because I'm doing something so stupid you all feel I don't deserve one. But I have tried everything. I followed the doc on the support documentation and I've search and searched for an answer.

I deleted $ and euro's as I only want £. I created £, but now all my prices display as 0

Please can someone help as I'm totally unable to launch until this is resolved.

in catalog/includes/languages/english.php you have to change your currency to pounds there also. It is near the top of the page.

that's because you're looking at the wrong file, there is another english.php on the catalog end, see the path posted earlier.

Hi,

I had trouble with this too. After changing the currency to 'GBP' nothing seemed to happen. I went back to check the currencies and found that £ was not set as default. (Click 'Edit' currency and check the box). This seems to have done the trick.

Clear your browser cache, I notice firefox shows all products as 0 until you clear the browser cache, has fooled me many times, I tend now to test on a different browser rather than spend hours looking for the solution lol
