liz217 Posted June 1, 2007 Share Posted June 1, 2007 I wanted to make sure that this was seen so I'm making it into it's own post. I was having difficulty with the downloads. Small files would download fine, but when I tried a larger file I would get a 0 byte file. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I enabled the Download in Configuration. I followed all instructions on how to set up the products and product attributes including entering the file name, yada yada yada, and I uploaded the file into the download folder. Everything was fine, I got a link on the order it would actually download, but what was downloaded was a 0 byte file. Some where I read that the GZIP Compression being enabled was creating problems for some. I disabled it and EUREKA!!!! it works!!! I hope this helps someone. I would hate for them to go through the same thing I did. It seems like most of the people that have an issue, dissappear after they get it resolved and never tell anyone how they did it. I will probably dissappear now too, but at least I'm letting you know what I did :thumbsup: Good Luck to everyone. I'll see you all when I run into another problem.
