Leomans Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Hi I want to be able to send html emails to people on my newletter mailing list. I can create the email template in dreamweaver, but I do not know how I can send this via oscommerce admin to ensure that it is received correctly as an html email. Can anyone give me some advice on this please? Am I best to create the email in MS Word? What do other people do? Do I need to use third party software to enable me to do this? Any advice offered would be very much appreciated. Thanks Neil

Be sure you have the send as html option set in admin->Configuration->EMail Options. That setting doesn't always work and you may have to change the code to fix it. Also, you may want to look at the TinyMCE editor. It will add an html editor in admin->Tools->Email so you don't need to bother with DW.
