Problem: New Installation. Database Import

Hi! I am installing OScommerce on the Yahoo Web Hosting and I have this problem:

 

New Installation

Database Import

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

The error message returned is:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (46)

Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings.

 

I have checked the database server settings and nothing works.
