Hello

No one seems to be able to help here. I installed the UPS XML contribution and when you go to check -out you get the following error: "United Parcel Service (XML) Rating and Service 1.0001 0 An unknown error occured while attempting to contact the UPS gateway".

Please help here- I have no idea how to fix this or what to do. Without this i'm &^%$#

Update:

The error from MYADMIN Reads: " Error from cURL: Error [60]: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK experienced by customer with id 2 on 2007-05-29 09:27:24 "

Any Help Would Be appreciated

Hi Anthony,

I don't have an answer for you but I hope you can help me. I am doing my first site with osCommerce and everything seems to be going well EXCEPT in the documentation it says that there should be a UPS shipping module as part of the list (flat rate, zone, USPS, etc) but it's not showing up in my list. You mentioned installing the "UPS XML contribution". Where do I find that and how do I install it? We don't ship USPS and need to be able to access the UPS rates.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello

Got my problem fixed! Anyway, there is text instructions ( got this from the maker) in the readme.txt? Installation

instructions are found arond 40% from the top.It may look overwhelming at first, but start at the beginning. Make sure you

change a field in the database from varchar to text (step 5) and make sure you have read everything first.

Once again, thank you. I am in the process of reading the readme.txt file. However, I already have two questions:

Step 3 refers to a file that I don't seem to have - catalog/admin/modules.php and Step 4 refers to editing line 767 in the file catalog/admin/includes/functions/general.php but I just counted and there are only about 150 lines. Help? I am defnintely feeling like the rookie here!

Hi Anthony,

After many, many hours doing this I am making headway! Can you please tell me how to get to the database table to make this change? I have searched EVERY where and cannot seem to locate where to make this change. It sounds so easy, I just don't have any idea where to do it. Thanks for being there!
