Cannot Make Any Changes In The Admin Portal

Hello everyone.

 

I'm new to oscommerce, and I'm using it on an IIS-PHP-MYSQL setup.

It seems that when ever I try to add a new addition(new product/category etc...) I get the following error:

 

" 1366 - Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'sort_order' at row 1

insert into categories (sort_order, parent_id, date_added) values ('', '0', now())

[TEP STOP]"

 

In addition, whenever I try to edit the modules and save the changes, it seems like it's working, but when I check again everything reverts back to the defaults.

 

I tried messing around with the permissions, but with no luck.

 

Any ideas?

Seems like the initial problem was solved, but I still cannot change any details of the modules. Any idea why?

Im having the same problem - This is a big deal because I cant make changes to anything having to do with functionality of the site.
