Register Globals Patch For V1.x Of Oscommerce

Does anyone know where I can get a patch for keeping OsCommerce version 1.x running after my host switches off register globals? I will be unable to turn it on afterwards and the site will not function properly anymore.

 

The problem is that all patches for the register globals problem are for MS2.2 and later and I have to apply a patch to a heavily customized site (unable to update to MS2.2 due to this customisation), still using a 1.x release of OsCommerce. There are so many differences between v1.x and v2.x of OsC that I can't fiure out by looking at the available patches what must be done to v1.x.

 

I can't imagine I am the only one having to deal with this issue, so any help is welcome.
