Guest Posted May 29, 2007 Share Posted May 29, 2007 Hi guys, I'm super new to osCommerce. I just downloaded the tgz file from sourceforge and untared it on my webserver. Created a mysql database and went through the 7 step installation process coming up to "The configuration was successful!" - when i click on the "Catalog" button or "Administration Tool", in both casess the page doesn't load up and there is no error message... very strange. can somebody please help me? I started to go from the top of the index.php file and placed the php code: die(print("ok so far..")); and moved that lower and lower down the script to see where the code is hanging up.. AND found out that its related to the "SESSIONS" section in the top.inc.php (or soemthing like that). i'm on a semi-dedicated server running redhat with php4 and cpanel.. has anybody else experienced this problem???? to remind you, the "install" script worked perfect and smooth!!
