Guest
Hey guys, I'm reselling for tigerdirect in my store, wondering if I can make a website with oscommerce and get feeds from their RSS to add products and update prices without having to do it manually. Is it possible? Regards, genesis.

Guest
it's possible but you need to write custom code because feeds do not have to follow a standard, while listing the various entries (products/prices etc). And your supplier's feed is no exception. Get one of the rss contributions see how it reads the feeds to get a general idea and see how the easy populate contrib. fills in the product tables. Finally create a script so it will read the feed and insert the data into the dbase.
Guest
I'm not a coder, but I'd pay if someone were to create a code for me.
