I was wondering if there was a guide somewhere on the site to explain how to integrate this correctly and have everything work smoothly.

 

I have everything done at my site besides adding a few more products. www.adonisresearch.com

 

My only issue is with the shipping modules I am wanting to use USPS. Have already got the account set-up with them and web tools. I however have no knowledge of what I need to edit/implement from there. If there is a guide you could point me to that I can read it I would be more than happy to. I need to learn this some way or another.

 

Someone please point me in the right direction.

You need to install the USPS Methods contribution and the update to it. Create an account with USPS, have them switch you to the production server and enter your account details in the module in admin. It should work at that point.

I have done as stated above have activated the user account and I have installed the updates. But I still get nothing. It is really aggravating. I still get the same error "if you want to use usps. Please contact the store owner. Now when I go into the module to edit and select what shipping methods I want to allow after selecting update none of my selections are saved. What is the cause of this. Is there something missing in my DB that I need to add?

 

I am willing to pay someone probably $75 bucks to just install this damn module to make it work correctly and install the paypay IPN while they are at it. If you interested in that let me know.

 

All help is appreciated...

Please do not send any money but ....

You need to set the module to production instead of testing. Make sure you get an ID from USPS and that it is set for production.

Enter the ID in the module and enter anything for password, USPS no longer checks for password.

 

I had the same problem. I emailed them back with my ID and stated that I was using oscommerce. They immediately set me for Production and it is all working happily.
