jbmtk
I read through this: http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/G...mon_Problems/75 and I am still wondering, since I am running it off my own netowrk at my house, would I need to still purchase an $80 or so SSL certificate? Sorry for the n00b question NVM, it seems that I could make my own, and I just tried this, but I do indeed get an error displaying that the certificate may be for the wrong site and then IE recommends the user to not progress to site. Looks like I will be needing one of these certificates. What sites do you recommend and what if I change my domain name, would the certificate be reusable at another domain name? Do not understand if you are saying that you get one for your test site or not. Why would you ever change domain names when it takes so long to get it recognised?
