Persistent Error Message After Installing Phptriad And Oscommerce

I installed PHPTriad and osCommerce (on Windows XP). No glitches. However, when I open the catalog, administration panel, or any buttons or links found on the cataog or admin panel I receive an error message: "php.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." If I click "Don't Send," the page loads okay. Clicking "Don't Send" gets quite tiring though.

 

The top of the error report indicates:

The section that shows technical information specifies:

C:\Windows\65b_appcompat.txt

 

I hope this is enough info. I would appreciate a relatively legible response if possible.
