I registered for USPS webtools, installed the usps module, entered my webtools ID (for ID and password), contacted USPS and asked to be moved from test to production, got their written okay to move to the production server and selected the production server in the shipping model. I can't get past this message: This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order. United States Postal Service United States Postal Service An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations. If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. I have spent the whole day trying to find a solution here and elsewhere on the web. Has anyone else encountered the problem and if so, do you have a solution? desertlavender Posted May 24, 2007 Author Share Posted May 24, 2007 After 24 hours in PHP hell, I concluded that there was no option but to reinstall (yes, all the way back to creating the database). To the best of my knowledge, I made no changes during the reinstall. However, now the cart including USPS works perfectly. I believe my problems started when I added SSL.
