tty
My customers using AOL servers receive no emails from either admin panel or when they create accounts. Other customer email account (like gmail-yahoo etc) work fine. I understand this happens because there is an error in email.php file. This doesn't send a return path address and because of it servers like AOL refuse to let the mail in. I appreciate any answer. PS: I tried the AOL fix contribution and doesn't work for me. dittones
tty, Contact AOL and inform them of this...they will check your site out and if you pass as being a valid site they will let your mail through... I hope this helps Roman dittone.com
tty
Thanks for your input. First I'll try to find a way to use smtp and a specific account on the server with authentification. If it doesn't work I'll contact aol, but I don't think they'll bother.
tigergirl
Hi, dunno if this will work for you/ AOL email but worth a try. 1) Go to email settings in Admin, Configuration, My Store, Email from: 2) change [email protected] <[email protected]> to mysite <[email protected]> I had a problem with hotmail, they said I was faking the email-from name, which I wasn't, and always classed my mail as spam. I changed this setting in admin and now all fine. Always worth a try. Hope it works Tiger I'm feeling lucky today......maybe someone will answer my post! I do try and answer a simple post when I can just to give something back. ------------------------------------------------ PM me? - I'm not for hire
