Unable To Connect To Database Server!

Hi,

 

Having a few problems installing oscommerce.

 

I'm using

 

IIS 6.0 with ISAPI interface

PHP 5.2.2

mySQL 5.0.41

mySQL Administrator

 

I can succesfully create the database and get to /install.php?step=7, where I am given two options "Catalog" and "Administration Tool".

 

Clicking on Catalog takes me through a redirect so that instead of /catalog/index.php i get taken to /catalog/install/index.php to setup again.

 

Clicking Administration Tool takes me to /catalog/admin/index.php where i get the error message "Unable to connect to the database server!"

 

Any ideas?

have you tried deleting the tables in the database, and try reinstalling again?

Just tried that now, and no joy, can you think of anything else?
