Before i want to start up on my shop, There a admin control panel that is open to public. See here...http://www.oamurai.com/admin Is there any way to have this block from customer or viewer and only open to the owner?

dropdeadred Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Oamurai - go into your webhost control panel and password protect the admin directory, that's the simplest way.
dittones Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Randall, Also...you can added another layer of protect quickly by changing the admin directory to something else and go into your configure.php on the admin side and change the admin to the new name that renamed the admin directory to.... So after you do all this then to get to your admin side you would type domain name/new directory name... This will hide your admin side from everyone unless you tell someone.
