simoncrouch
Hi all, I have just transfered a friends website over to a new server http://www.tribalsurfer.co.uk As you will see from the items the currency sign is missing. Can anyone shed any light on why this is ? If you go into the item then the price appears as it should, but alas on the display screen it drops the symbol. Thanks to anyone who can help us out. Cheers
♥Vger
Try reloading the database specifying Latin 1 as the collation in phpMyAdmin when you choose the Import or SQL option. Vger
simoncrouch
Just found out that in the localization tab of the admin I can add a new default currency and it will represent any symbol i place in with the exception of the £ sign so i have no probs representing the currency with a ^ not much use unfortunately but thought this might shed some more light ? radders
It will help with the current prices but not the order history. Copy and paste either the symbol or the ascii code from here. ascii codes. Your html codes were probably missing the trailing ';'
