Picture File Upload Error.

Trying to upload images and the error listed below keeps coming up.

I've added many contributions to my store and backup prior to doing so and have only been dissapointed twice since migrating to osCommerce

I've religiously backup all data via MSQL Administrator and have had no problems up until last weekend.

 

Can any one shed some light on the error.

you have directory permission error.

try to chmod your images folder under catalog.

Thanks for the information but still no joy !

All permissions are set at read and write.

 

I'm lost on this problem and it's the only glitch keeping the store going live. All the rest would very well.

I am fighting the same issue. CHMOD catalog/images to 0775 and no luck.

I get the following errors in my error log:

Funny thing (possible clue). images/index.html, images/index.html.var and images/index.php do not exist.

If the permissions are not set or if the environment does not allow HTTP protocol to upload.

 

Ask Your hosting company for a proper solution.

I've just set permissions on my server but still no joy. What is happening now though is that the image name is being recorded but the image itself is not being down loaded to the images folder. If i go and manualy load the image via FTP all is good !! Oh the frustration, but i guess a solution will come to hand sooner or later.

well im facing this problem i actually add pictures for some items and they come up thats good others stay there i mean i put pictures and nothing comes up in the website but as an admin i can c it -_-" plz help the website is
