osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Hi guys, I am a complete noob when it comes to PHP and page making altogether. I've figured out most of the osCommerce package, just want to say thanks for everyone who contributed to this awesome project. Hats off to all of you!

My question or problem, that is, is that I want to be able to decide which shipping modules methods will display for my users by the amount of items per cart. For example, my site is mainly apparel, i.e. shirts, hoodies, etc. What I'd like to do is have it setup where

cart total item amounts

1 item (t-shirt, lets say) = usps shipping module "flat rate envelope" (because I can stuff a shirt in one of those!)

2-4 items (t-shirts) = usps shipping module "flat rate box" (because you can fit about 4 shirts in one of those)

4+ items = usps parcel post, depending on weight and size of box

Does this make sense? Also would like it to work for any shipping module as I am using UPS XML and the USPS module.

Can anyone come up with a basic mod or point in the right direction? I just need to know where to add this mod and basic language-usage and I can probably figure out the rest or tweak it for what I need. Thanks in advance!
