Accessing Session Info In Non Store Pages

Greetings all - I've been using OSCommerce for some time now for various projects.

 

Currently, I'm working on a project that uses Drupal for the content side of things and OSCommerce for the store side.

 

I'd like to be able to display the total number of items in the cart on the Drupal pages that are outside of OS Commerce, as well as the Login/My Account, and Checkout links.

 

I've got everything set up, but I'm not sure how to access the session info to see if that user has a session, if he/she is logged in, and how many items are in the cart.

 

I've looked through the contributions, but I didn't see anthing.

 

Any ideas?
