bigphill911 Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Does anyone know how to make my products and product attributes in alphabetical oder? Also for the products I am doing sizes of candles like 5.4, 10.3, 16.7 how would I make those in order from smallest candle size to largest?
Jack_mcs Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 You can sort your products by changing the sort order in the admin->Configuration->Products Listing section. To sort the attributes, there are several product attributes sorter contributions. bigphill911 Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 Don't see any sort options under that all I am seeing there is this... Title Value Action Display Product Image 1 Display Product Manufaturer Name 0 Display Product Model 0 Display Product Name 2 Display Product Price 3 Display Product Quantity 0 Display Product Weight 0 Display Buy Now column 4 Display Category/Manufacturer Filter (0=disable; 1=enable) 0 Location of Prev/Next Navigation Bar (1-top, 2-bottom, 3-both) 3
Jack_mcs Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I'm sorry, you are correct. My mind was elsewhere. The products are sortable by clicking on the table they are in, assuming a stock shop. If you want to be able to control the sort more than that, then you would need to install one of the product sort contributions or use some of the code posted throughout the forums. dropdeadred Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 As far as I know, products do display in alphabetical order in Oscommerce. As the above poster said, to sort the attributes you'll need a contrib.
